I have been planning to move to Milwaukee, Wisconsin since March, and was not anticipating having to move my car sooner than August first. I thought I had lots of time to pick a transport company. If my schedule had gone as planned, I would have had plenty of time, but my plans changed last minute. I received news that I would be moving to Chicago and had just over 2 weeks to get my car moved from Oregon and I could not get to Chicago and wait for my car, it needed to be there before me!

I had a few other companies for transport in mind (one was recommended by a family friend who uses their services to move cars all the time), but I didn't quite feel comfortable. I requested to be contacted by companies through transportreviews.com. Stephanie, from Magic Carpet, called me and we had an extremely useful conversation about how time is of the essence, especially with the quick move. I really appreciated her candid feedback about the move, the price, and how they compare to other companies. I had a million questions for Stephanie and I imagine she thought I would never schedule a move! I called back probably 5 or 6 time to get answers for different questions that kept popping up while talking with different transport companies. Whether I was speaking with Stephanie, Adrian or Nicole, I received very straight forward answers that were also answers I wanted to hear (e.g. none of their answers made me cringe about going with Magic Carpet).

My quoted price was a little higher ($1012) than 15 or more companies I spoke with (avg. quote of 850-900), but after having learned the process of getting a driver, I realized I was too afraid of going with a company who gave me a low bid. Questions that ran through my head were: What if the driver wanted to keep increasing the amount? What if NO driver wants to take the bid and says they will show up and don't? What if it takes forever to find someone to come to Oregon to move my car!? (all things I have read online).

Magic Carpet was AWESOME when it comes to the speed at which they processed my order. Once I processed my order and gave them my routing number to pay with electronic check, I was told 1 to 10 days to get a driver. I started sweating bullets because at this point, I didn't have 10 days to find a driver + 5 days to transport the car!! MAGIC CAME THROUGH AND FOUND ME A DRIVER WITHIN 3 HOURS!!!!! I was through the roof with excitement.

The carrier they found me was great and I cannot speak enough good things about Magic. They came through in my time of need, when I was in a tremendous rush and worked within my time frame. Thank you Adrian, Nicole and especially Stephanie!! Thanks again, you guys are life savers!!!

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone, friends and family. And I would for sure use their services again! Thanks!
