I used Magic Carpet Auto to transport my Xterra from Long Beach, CA to Spotsylvania, VA. The price was a little more than other competitors but I thought since they had very good reviews it would be worth it to spend more for a reputable shipper. They sub-contracted the job to a trucker from Georgia and told me that I would get "door to door" service. For the amount I paid I expected nothing less. The day before my car was due to arrive I was called and advised that I would need to get a ride to the location that the truck had decided to drop off my car. So this clearly wasn't door to door service. I would expect to know something like this up front when I was scheduling the transport and not the night before which left me scrambling to find a ride to pick up my car.
But other than the fact that it was not true "door to door" service I had no other problems.

Kenny, In our terms and conditions it states: 4. If driver of carrier transporting the vehicle(s) feels he cannot maneuver or operate his truck at a destination location or neighborhood, it is the responsibility of the client or client's agent to meet the driver for safe delivery of vehicle(s)at a location close to the clients home.
