I phoned on the weekend to book shipping my new car from a dealership in California to Illinois. Michelle was very knowledgeable and friendly. With her help I was confident my new car would arrive in timely fashion. The information exchange was very efficient. The broker, Magic Carpet, takes the vitals of where you car is leaving from and where it is going to. With their advice a price for the entire delivery process is determined. I never felt pressured to increase my offer; they were there just to make sure it was appropriate. This offer, minus the broker fee, is then posted on a "board" visible to the various shipping companies. Each company can then decide if your transport request fits their route and if your price is fair. No price haggling. My offer was picked up the next day. I was notified via email and Michelle called me. In addition, I was given the name of the driver and his phone number in case I had questions or he had difficulty finding the vehicle. The process was super smooth. As promised my car arrived later the next week, on time. Delivery company was friendly and available throughout via dispatch. Overall a pleasant experience; highly recommend. Price also very competitive.
