After being BOMBARDED with quotes/phone calls from over 20 transportation companies I decided on Magic Carpet because their reviews seemed the most positive and they didn't require a deposit before my car was picked up (which is apparently a tell-tale sign that you have a bad transporter). Kristaan was very helpful answering all of my questions. The car was picked up earlier than I thought and was then going to be delivered on a day that I was going to be on vacation. But Kristaan handled all that and was able to either have the driver drop it off before I went on vacation or the carrier could hold it until I got back. The carrrier actually came early and I was able to get my car before I went on vacation which was a relief. Overall, I felt that the expereince was pleasant and if I end up having to ship my car back to CA again I will most likely use Magic Carpet again. PLUS they give you a rebate if you post on here! (I would have given them a positive review regardless of the compensation, however I probably wouldn't have bothered posting without an incentive since I am busy)
