I have to say this has been a real education for me in getting my car transported from Houston, TX to South Dakota. I was working with another broker by the name of Your Choice Auto Transport located out of FL. I made arrangements with this company to have my car picked up on 3/5/10 from Houston as stated by them with delivery of my car a few days later. Well 3/5 came & went with out my car being picked up! After many phone calls and broken promises I decided to do more research and find a company that can live up to their promises. I located Magic Carpet Transport Company and Hilary a sales rep was in contact with me explaining how the whole process worked from start to finish. Boy!! Was I surprised how the rules of the game were played! Hilary explained to me that least cost doesn’t always out weigh best cost! Hilary explained to me transport trucking companies review a wire with all the cars that need to be transported from one location to another. The drivers are really choosing by the dollar amount of the quoted price and quotes that are higher get first priority over lower quotes! Is this fair? I don’t think so, but its how the game is played. The second rule is determined by the point of origin to your destination point. I learned through Hilary that SD, ND, WY & MT are one of the hardest states to get cars transported to. Thanks to Hilary I now clearly understood the rules of the game! So with that said! I had a high confidence level with Magic Carpet Transport and the wonderful customer service I was receiving from Hilary that quickly gain my trust with this company and decided to place my order with Magic Carpet Transport Company. Within a few days I received a call from Hilary stating my car was being picked on 3/16/10 with a scheduled delivery date of 3/19/10. WOW! Miracles do happen! Or is it just because I was working with a 5 star company with excellent customer service? In my opinion customer service has fallen by the waist side in the past years and there are a lot companies that operate under the impression that we as customers own them some thing and they are doing us a favor! It is refreshing to know there are companies out there like Magic Carpet that still understand the value of a customer! My hat is off to Magic Carpet and their wonderful customer service person Hilary! I would highly recommend using this company when you need your auto transported! From this point forward I will only be using Magic Carpet with my future purchases for shipping my cars! 5 Stars guys!!!!!
