The end result was great but was a little bugged by a couple things. I wasn't notified ahead of time that anyone would be picking up my vehicle until I received a call from the rig driver two hours before he was going to arrive. Then I get a call from the Magic Carpet rep to say that they are not going to honor the quote that I had been given several months prior. We ended up paying $150 more than the quote due to rising fuel prices. However, I was told when I agreed to the quote that by doing so it would "lock in" the price and I would not get hit due to rising fuel prices. When I questioned the rep about this she said that she would have never said such a thing. Everyone knows that fuel prices rise ahead of the summer driving season. I think MC should have eaten the cost and honored their quote. In the end the car was picked up and delivered with care by the driver. And he gave me his cell number and I stayed in touch with him during the transport to coordinate the delivery. In the end it worked out. I would use MC again with no hesitation.
