Magic Carpet was great

I would absolutely recommend Doug at Magic Carpet to anyone. However, I had a terrible experience with the carrier, Carewell Transport. The driver kept giving me the run-around on pick up dates and actually asked me at one time if I "wanted him to pick up my car today?" when he was already a day late (which we waited ALL DAY for him). I said, "no, I NEED you to pick up my car today" then he began to give me excuses about how he didn't realize how far I was and how his "boss will kill him if he picks it up today." I'm thinking to myself, isn't this what I'm paying you for????? Then he told me not to sign the form because his boss will "kill him" if he sees when the car was picked up. So, he kept me waiting and made me lie. NOT the signs of good customer service. Plus he had a very thick accent and was nearly impossible to understand, especially when I was trying to give him directions (geez buddy, I thought you had GPS??). HORRIBLE.

Doug was sincerely apologetic about the whole situation. He had in his notes that the company was a good company, it wasn't Doug's fault. He did his job. This carrier just sucked.

Douglas Whatford 360-853-2825 Jen, Again i cant say sorry enough. We work hard here to make sure schedules and timing go well. Unfortunately i have no control over the carrier. It makes it hard because we take the orders and do all the work. in a way we represent the carrier since we are the main point of contact. So, we get to smooth everything over no matter how unpleasant it is. Thank you for understanding that and the kind review even when thee carrier did not do a good job. Thank you for the recommendation.... PS we are not compensating for this review....
