I had a bad experience with another broker. After discussing my situation with a number of brokers/carriers, I think that the original bid was too low. No one was willing to take the auto for my quoted price. I found out by asking around that there were 54 cars waiting to go to Washington from IL., no one was hurting to get a load together.
I spoke to Kathy who was very helpful on the phone. She explained the situation and helped me reorder the transport. The price was a bit higher, but not excessively so. I felt that I was not getting the run around and could talk to a live person every time I called; this was not so with the other 5* carrier that I tried to use. The carrier showed up on time, and even though I could not personally be there, he worked with my family to get things going. He arrived ahead of schedule. There were no problems with the car due to the move.
Overall, I am very pleased with my choice and would definitely ask Magic Carpet to help us with another move.
