Magic Carpet was able to locate a carrier to transport my car from New York to Seattle in the time frame requested and I appreciated the timliness. However, they were completely disorganized and really added no value other than identifying a carrier. My car was pick up two days early after I received a night time call from the driver requesting pick up at 1 AM. I decided to agree to the time and the driver (mobile transport inc.) was professional and helpful. I wrote Magic Carpet and asked that the delivery be made at a more normal hour and the contact didn't know my car had been picked up. I got a call two days later from the contact informing me the car was now on its way to Seattle and confirming pick up on that later date. I informed her it had been picked up two days earlier and called the driver to ensure all was okay. Again, the driver was very helpful. This coupled with a few other matters led me to deal with the driver the rest of the way. Magic called me two or three days after delivery to confirm the car had been delivered. They never called to update me on the progress of the delivery or the time the car was expected to be delivered. Looking back, if the driver had not called my mobile the night of pick up I would not have had his number and the experience could have been a lot worse. The role Magic was supposed to play in this transport did not happen. Overall, very disappointing.
