Use Magic Carpet AT YOUR OWN RISK - Terrible Company

The "letter from the president" in a previous review is very hard to believe considering it is the exact OPPOSITE of our experience with Magic Carpet.

We had our BMW 330xi trucked from WA to NH. Car arrived and at first everything looked fine. Apparently the rear lower arms on the vehicle were BENT during transportation. This is not something you can see until you lift the car to get under it. When we brought the car in for service the owner of the service shop said he was very uncomfortable with letting my daughter and I drive away in the car. He offered to tow the car for FREE to anywhere we wanted the work done if we wanted it done somewhere else. Both arms were bent in the same area which is apparently something that happens when it is attached poorly. This is a very expensive problem and cost almost the same amount we paid to get the car relocated.

We tried to contact Magic Carpet on multiple occasions and the ONLY response we rcv'd was an email with the name and number of the company they brokered the move with which is Express Delivery Inc.

After this incident we looked up Express Delivery Inc (based in Spokane, WA) and it seems there are multiple complaints against them, a very long history of dissatisfied customers and even another auto transport company like Magic Carpet (brokers) had written a complaint against them. We then looked them up through the Better Business Bureau of Washington state and found that they are NOT an accredited business with the BBB. They also have received an "F" from the BBB for a number of reasons. Perhaps you and the rest of Magic Carpet should see the attached link for the long list of reasons why they received an "F".

When we originally called Magic Auto we were told that the trucking companies they work with are reliable and have good reputations. We trusted that Magic Auto had thoroughly checked the satisfaction rate of the trucking companies they work with as Magic Carpet's reputation is definitely going to be connected to the companies they work with, correct? We were wrong. Don't be duped by this company.
