Don't use them!!!

I contracted Magic Car Transport to transport my car from Florida to Michigan using their standard (cheapest) rate. 11 days (and several emails) later, Tony informed me that they could not find a driver to pick up my car for the agreed upon price and that it would be $150 - $200 more if I wanted them to complete the contract. I emailed him back that I wanted to cancel the contract and receive a refund of my deposit. I received an email from Tony apologizing for not being able to 'move' my car and stating that I would receive a refund in 7 - 10 days. It also stated that if I disputed the charge within the 7 - 10 days then I would forfeit my deposit. 13 days after I received the email from Tony, I still had not received my refund and Tony sent another email apologizing for the delay and stating that I would receive the refund within 24 hours. I never received the refund and finally disputed the charge with my credit card company. That's when the dishonesty of this company was really revealed. Tony sent a letter to my credit card company stating that I never contacted him to cancel the contract and that they called me to tell me that a truck was on the way to pick up my car. These were blatant lies that contradict the emails I received directly from Tony. I read similar reviews for Magic Car Transport before I contracted with them and decided to hire them anyway because their price was much less than other companies. I can tell you by experience, the savings won't be there in the end and you will end up wasting time and money dealing with this company.

Sir we at Magic Car Transport regret that your car was not picked up on a timely manner. You did not mention in your review that we provided you with three different prices to move your car, and you chose the least expensive, it was explained to you that the price that you were choosing was the cheapest, so your car was last in line, since there were other cars paying more to drivers. This was all explained to you at the beginning, but you still chose the least expensive way, that usually takes longer to pick up the vehicle. If you could have waited two more days we had a driver for you confirmed to pick up your vehicle. But when we spoke to you, you told us that you did not wish to wait that you would make other arrangements. Again we emphasize that Magic did not lie to you or gave you the run around on the contrary.And your deposit has been refunded in full. R.H.
