Thank you for your 1 star review. To be clear, we shipped a 2009 Volvo XC90 for this customer from Vancouver to Montreal. While the vehicle was being moved off the train at the terminal in Scarborough, the glass fell out of the drivers side mirror and smashed on the ground. The mirror wasn’t impacted in any way and doesn’t show any damage other than the glass is missing. How is this damage the fault of MVS Canada or CP Rail? We don't feel anyone is responsible for this happening but the customer wants to blame someone else rather than acknowledging that sometimes things happen that aren’t the fault of others. It's very possible that the glue in the mirror was weakened over the past 11 years and the vibrations or heat from inside the rail car caused it to loosen and fall out when it was driven off the train. Also as outlined in the shipping contract that the customer signed and agreed too, these minor damages were not covered by insurance because of the age of the vehicle they shipped.
