I was sold by Brad on his service because of the high customer rating. I had very bad experience with the drivers that Lightning contracted. Basically , they used my vehicle on a stop over, dumped packed items from the front seat to the back seat , used a tank of gas and caused upholstery damage. This was discovered the day following the delivery of the car. I was unable to inspect the car at delivery because it was night , pouring rain and we were on a highway. I alerted Brad at Lightning immediately w a photo of the damage and a phone call. I received a call from Matt saying they were not responsible for anything and since I had signed the Bill of Lading it was unlikely any compensation was forthcoming. Number one this type of response is just poor customer service leaving me high and dry. Secondly if the issue of of signing was so important and I had known about it I certainly would have forced the driver to allow me to inspect the car. I was not informed at the point of sale about this.
If I hadnt had the actual transportation bill of lading with a phone number I would had no followup. Lighning offered zero support.
I am pursuing compensation with the driving company (Speedy Transport in Miiam) and if I am not satisfied I will call teh police as the drivers essentially stole my car for company and/or personal use.
An overall negative experience. Lightning should be taking responsibility for their subcontractors and giving their customers followup support on any problems.
