This was my first ever having a vehicle transported and considering it was a gift from my dad I wanted to be especially careful with the transport of getting it to me. Jim was awesome, he answered all my questions and reassured me of the process from beginning to end, he was always available and it made me feel better knowing I was speaking with the person in charge directly instead of a customer service rep.
My original quote price was increased by $50 but that was not due to Jim in any way, the driver actually wanted more and Jim was able to negotiate and get it down to the extra $50, but considering my vehicle was picked up less than 48 hours from the time I originally made the request, I couldn't complain. The driver was professional, I was contacted both 24 hours prior to my car arriving and then another 12 hours prior. My vehicle arrived to me unblemished - slightly dusty, but that was to be expected considering the trek here was almost 1800 miles. As afraid as I was of being the victim to a "worst case scenario" I am so grateful to have found this site and Lane By Lane, I wouldn't trust anyone else to the transportation of my vehicles.
