I spend the winters in Florida and the summers in Maine. For the past several years, I have been in the practice of using one of the elite brand name luxury car haulers to take my Porsche 911 back and forth. Excellent service, with all the bells and whistles. However, last May a local FL friend of mine got in a jam - and Quiktrans was the only carrier that could pick up his Porsche with 3-days notice. He had a great experience - and the price differential was major. So, this year, I decided to give them a try myself. I worked with Vito, who wrote up the order and scheduled the pick-up and delivery. And, when I didn't get my email confirmation within the 1-day he had noted, he knocked $50 off an already excellent price. My pick-up was a day early (a Thursday), which was fine with me. Given my own travel schedule, my ONLY concern was that the car could not be delivered in FL before Wednesday. It wasn't. The car arrived today/Thursday, professionally delivered by Roman and his dad, and in perfect shape. I paid cash, gave the guys a 10% tip. The entire experience could not have been better. I'll be calling Vito at Quiktrans next May for the return trip to Maine.
