damaged a vehicle and won't pay to have it fixed

We had a cadillac xlrv convertible shipped by JR'S TRANSPORT and when it left Lancaster, Pa it did not have a hole in the oil pan, but when it arrived in Florida low and behold there is a hole in the oil pan and all though it was a very small hole it did drip oil may be a drop every 30 minutes. The car dealer ship did not notice this until the next morning and called us immediatly to see what they could do about this. Remember folks this was a brand new 2009 cadillac, not an old machine. Well we got in touch with JR and he says no way did Roy the driver do this damage to the oil pan, but it left Lancaster with out it and arrived in Florida with it. To me when it is in some ones care like the carrier they are responsible for the damage. It happened while in the care of the driver. This happened in Febuary and here it is June 1st and we have still not resolved the problem. We have talked to Deb who told us that the claims department denied the claim, well folks she is the claims department because she is the only one we ever talked to about this. They are not an honest company in my book because they just brush off damages and blame it on any one they can but the driver. In this case the driver is at fault and they got some cock and bull story from him because he doesn't want to admit he bottomed the car out while unloading and loading it god knows how many times before it got to Florida. To all the brokers out there and to any customer of a broker do not use this company. JR said he would pay the damages back in Febuary and then decided he would not. When the word of the owner is no good it is time to get rid of companies like this. AGAIN BROKERS AND CUSTOMERS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU MAY BE VERY SORRY IN THE END
the cost for repair on this car is $1229.13 not a cheap fix but then again my customer didn't put the hole in the oil pan, but deserves it in the same shape it left Pennsylvania in.
