Bottom line - IT TOOK JAY LESS THAN 1 HOUR TO GET MY CAR PLACED!

I had just come off a week of runaround and frustration with another broker that got my car nowhere and had gotten pretty ugly by the end. After checking out his reviews on this site, and checking the BBB site (things which I failed to do before), I called JAY'S AUTO TRANSPORT, INC.

I know I am not the smartest guy in the world - I bought a convertible in the spring, and I wanted to transport it from Florida to Kentucky at the same time all the snow-birds wanted to get their cars back up north. I was on the wrong end of supply and demand in both instances. I had also failed to do my homework and check out ratings and complaints about Polar Express before I wasted a week on them.

When I called Jay and he pulled up the 10 day old quote, he started to TELL me "how this business works." What I HEARD was "This is going to cost you more than I quoted you," and what I THOUGHT was "Here we go again." What I LEARNED was how the business works; how transportation gets priced; how to use that system to pay the right price and get results. Jay was willing to work with me to get me the results I wanted. He also charged me about half the brokerage fee of the "other company," which meant more of the money I paid went to the truck driver. More money going to the driver translates into a greater likelihood of getting placed - especially in a crowded market.

Jay spent the better part of an hour on the phone with me educating me and addressing my concerns. He phoned and emailed me immediatly upon getting the car placed. He provided driver information (incl. phone number) as well as pick-up and drop-off dates. It was obvious from my conversation with Jay that he had personally spoken with the driver and checked everything out.

I COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE THAN I HAVE HAD WITH JAY.
