Horrible Experience - Do NOT USE

This broker has no power to help you once the actual carrier picks up your vehicle. I was told the estmated delivery date was Nov 3rd. Since I am moving out of state I was not there yet and had to send the money order in advance. They called to deliver on Sunday Oct. 31st, my check would not be there until the 1st. They would not return my calls and delivered to a tow yard. I am now responsible for storage fees. They said I had to direct deposit the check because they did not trust the tow company not to cash their check and keep it. That obviously did not make me feel good about the place they left my $40,000 car at. When I tried to deposit the check they couldn't find the account number because the auto carrier gave me the wrong account number! They held my car hostage until they got notice from the bank it was there. Jay Morin attempted to help at first but when he couldn't get anywhere with the carrier he made the comment he only made $95 on the deal and was losing jobs while he was taking my call. Why use a broker if they can't help you when something goes wrong. He then told me it was my fault for not having the money order there on time. I guess our definition of on time is different. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
The auto carrier was Carriage Auto Carriers. I asked him to send me an email detailing where I could get my car and he had to wait until his office "girl" got in to send it because he doesn't know how to send an email.

Please look closely at the details this customer writes. She admits the car went completely across country in 6 days. By the way it was a GMC Arcadia SUV (a rather large vehicle). Look at the price $895.00 (that's cheap!!!). She placed a last minute order and we got it picked up right away and delivered in 6 days straight through on the same truck. She told us she had a friend who could receive it if she was not there. Her friend bailed on her and she didn't have a back up plan. As a business owner I don't feel this ZERO star rating is deserved. I think she should have been prepared as directed in her shipping agreement to pay the driver on delivery. When she didn't she wanted to blame everyone but herself for her lack of proper planning. Fast service. Low price. The SUV was clean with no damage on delivery. What more can you ask for? Some people are just impossible to please.
