Avoid Unless You Like Price Changes and Chasing

Let's start with the end. Did my car arrive safely and in one piece? Yes. Pleasant, above-the-table experience that would make me come back? Absolutely not. After being told the company has "new owners" and they are "a different/better company" by "Matt Smith" (most likely fake name), they ended up being just like what shows on their BBB page (grade of "F" in case you were wondering). After signing a contract for price $x with a committed pickup date, I get a text on pickup day that "they can't find anyone" but they're "trying really hard". Next text the next day is is "hey, found someone, but on such short notice, it's $x+300 so how about we split the $300 difference?". After agreeing to proceed, every communication had me chasing them, not only for their work but also their sub-contractor that delivered the car. And speaking of communications, strange that they're an ET-based company and yet they didn't communicate before 10am ET? End result summary: Pickup was 3 days later than promised and paid delivery price was $150 more than originally contracted for. Too many choices out there. Select someone else. Unless you like signed contracts that don't matter and the communication etiquette of a teenager. Then by all means JMD is for you!
