Delivery of my Model T from Calif. to Ill.

I contacted Horseless Carriage Carriers when I was preparing to purchase a 1926 Model T Ford from a guy in California. I asked for a price quote and the provided it promptly. They also informed me that they had a truck in the Los Angeles area and could pick up the car within a week from when I purchased it. I purchased the car and again contacted Horseless Carriage Carriers to arrange pickup. They arrived as promised and picked up the car as promised. Due to the fact they had to fill the truck before departing the west coast they told me it would be about 2 weeks before the car would be delivered. I agreed. Everytime I contacted the home office I was greated curtiously and given the progress of my car. The driver, Lenny, contacted me when he was two days away and told me when he would arrive. He arrived as promised and promptly unloaded the car. The Model T arrived in great shape and the experience was very satisfactory. The delivery charge amounted to about $1 per mile, which is cheaper than any other carrier contacted and cheaper than it would cost if I went to get the car. The truck was spotless (except for the oil my car leaked on their nice polished wooden floor). Couldn't have asked for a better service. Highly recommend this carrier. Jim
