Prior to shipping with Horizon, I had always traveled to my auto purchases and drove them or trailered them home on my own truck/trailer- always fearing horror stories about shippers. Gregg proved that wrong.

I purchased a classic Bronco in NC and due to illness, I was unable to trailer it myself. Quick searches and inquiries on the internet produced a LOT of email quotes and borderline malicious voicemails looking for my business. I chose Gregg SOLELY on his voicemail; his calm, concise, and polite demeanor was exactly my style. Furthermore, I only received an initial quote and one courtesy follow-up email from Gregg, much unlike the competitors who flooded my inbox. It may not sound like much, but that went very far when it came time for me to make the final decision to go with Horizon.

Gregg set his expectation of the shipping cost early, and advised that the lower prices I received sounded too low, but he would do his best to match them. In the end, we were only $50 more then the average low quote that I received at a total of $500 for the 750 mile transport. All-in-all, it took us 5 business days to get it on a transporter and 2 business days for delivery. Admittedly, the pick-up delay may have been more due to me trying to get a lower price. Regardless, a roughly 10-day total wait was moot and met my timeline just fine.

The actual carrier that transported my vehicle was good. I have no positive or negative feelings other than my Bronco arrived in the same shape that it left in, and the communication was appropriate.

I would certainly recommend Horizon to someone looking to ship. It is highly likely that I will contact Gregg in the future for my own shipping as well!
