It is so unfortunate that just by shopping around unscrupulous brokers list your vehicle on the drivers' load board without your knowledge thus STOPPING all efforts of the broker you DID hire to first identify all carriers on your route the week you want to go and then negotiation with them down to the pricing you end up paying. In our case we can always get you the pricing attained by the dealerships who sweeten their offers to the drivers even though you pay cash on delivery. Our ability to identify 95% of all carriers on route in minutes (even those who were booked a week before you placed your order) does help identify more than the 10% identified by the others who like most brokers wait for carriers to call them through exclusive use of the drivers' load board over 3 or 4 days. We then HARD NEGOTIATE with the carriers/drivers - NOT like and American or someone from the Middle East or Jerusalem but rather from INDIA. Serving the British-Owned Guardian Newspaper Group has taught Me (Capt Mark) and my children the ways of the Indian Culture when it comes to proper conflict resolution. The Indians negotiate with much more passion but in total peace never crossing the line from assertion to aggression. Our entire culture should take a lesson which is the source of our success! I use the skill sets used in those negotiations in every negotiated car move we do.
