In these times of rising gas prices, shipping a car to my daughter in college turned out to be less expensive than the fuel, lodging and one-way return airfare costs associated with driving the car back to her. My Hilton Auto Transport representative, Nicole arranged for the vehicle to be transported by Kansas Transit Express. Nicole, from Hilton, was friendly and helpful, and since this was the first time I had transported a car, she was patient with all of my questions. When it came time to pick up the car, I was contacted by Kansas Transit representitive Michelle and our driver Erik, who arranged the time and location. Erik arrived right on time and was friendly, polite and very helpful. He used straps to anchor the car to the trailer, thus avoiding damage to the suspension and body of the car. The trip took 7 days which fit well with our timeline. The car arrived a little dusty and was received by my daughter who said Erik was a polite and helpful as when he picked up the car. Overall this was a great experience. I will use Hilton Auto Transit and Kansas Transit Express again when we return the car to California.
