More of a Four Seasons Than a Hilton

As in hotels, there are many options out there for auto transport. Selection is at best a crap shoot (at least the first time). While auto transport is not rocket science, you are entrusting the broker and/or carrier with a valuable asset, and with your convenience. This is intended to give you assurances with respect to one excellent option.
I found that the prices for transporting a 4 Runner from LA to Boston were uniform XXXall within about $100 of each other, so that wasn't an issue. Information, reliability and, especially, responsiveness are. Hilton (the broker) arranged with Ace Auto Trans, Inc. (the carrier) to do the job. I am a demanding executive and I am not amenable to shoddy performance or excuses. Here's what I got at Hilton:

Pro active responsiveness: Nicole called me to make sure that everything was going as planned and to give me notices of next events. I did not have to chase her. She called the day of delivery and the day after to confirm that it went well. Ace called several days in advance of delivery to give an update on where they were.
Reliability: What she said would happen happened as it was supposed to happen and when it was supposed to happen.
Timeliness: It took 8 days from start to finish. She gave me the option to do it in 5, but suggested that I take it only if I was in a hurry. Ace is her best carrier (and this is important), she gives them a good deal of business and so she and her customers are important to them. She said that good, honest and timely service was as important to them as it was to her, and that proved to be true.
Professionalism: She was willing to put her representations in writing and to stand by them.

I, at least, received top quality service and I recommend Hilton strongly.
