Nicole from Hilton was great. Not a big time broker, but big time straight with you. I would definitely use Hilton again.
The trucker/transport company is what matters. Be sure and talk to them. In order to do that, the broker must be a little flexible. Most will need a credit card up front to find a truck/driver. You don't need to actually pay their broker fee until they find a driver.

Right now (Sept 2011) depending on the route, truckers are busy, therefore the higher price. We could not get a truck at $1350 but it moved very quickly for $175 more. Worth it.

Spider Transport was the trucker, Frank the driver. Top notch. You could tell they were a good bunch and they delivered. Better than expected, picked up within two days on a Friday. My CRV was delivered in Salt Lake City on Monday as promised, in the exact condition I gave it to them. NO SURPRISES.
For a first time customer, this business can be nerve racking, but like so many of the reviewers are saying, expect to pay a reasonable amount for what you want and you will more likely get what you want.
