Is my car insured while it being shipped?

All of the carriers we assign are vetted for cargo and liability insurance, we mostly pick the ones that have cargo from 150K to 250K and liability from 750K to 1M. However, it is important to note that liability insurance may not cover all types of damage, such as damage caused by weather-related events or natural disasters. It is recommended to check with the transport company to understand the extent of their insurance coverage and to consider purchasing additional insurance for high-value vehicles or in cases where the standard coverage may not be sufficient.

In addition, it is important to note that any personal items left in the vehicle during transport are typically not covered by the carrier's insurance. If you plan to ship personal items with your vehicle, it is recommended to check with the transport company for any additional insurance options or to consider purchasing separate insurance for high-value items.
