The customer submitted a request for an estimate on May 21 and Lenny placed an order the same date for a pickup of May 31. The customer, Stephanie explained it may be harder to have a truck deliver her vehicle in Monroe, NY and the carrier suggested Manhattan, NY. Lenny explained the process as a broker, the rate provided is an estimate as we arrange the transportation with a carrier. Once we receive a call from the carrier regarding pickup and delivery we inform the customer and arrange, sometimes a carrier can request additional money. Once the customer agrees to the pickup and delivery dates along with the increased price we assign the carrier and charge a deposit to secure the driver. The carrier will contact the customer to coordinate pickup and delivery. The delivery would take 7-10 days from date of pickup, as the service is door to door transport and 2894 miles. Lenny received a call from the carrier stating the driver was trying to contact Stephanie to deliver her vehicle and there was no response. The driver couldn't wait around and circle his truck too long in Manhattan and suggested to redeliver the vehicle another day or store the vehicle at their yard for pickup in PA. Stephanie agreed with the driver to pickup her vehicle at the storage yard. When a vehicle is assigned to a carrier, they are responsible for the transportation from pickup to delivery. We can not refund the customer as we have assigned a carrier and provided the service requested. Thanks
