I contracted with Green Car Shipping after having another broker not be able to pick up my vehicle due to under bidding the job. Maxi sold me on their "white glove, luxury service" and high satisfaction rating. I agreed to pay a premium to have my new classic car transported from Arkansas to the Hamptons.
From the second my credit card was charged for the deposit, the service ended and communication with Maxi was difficult at best. She failed to communicate to the driver that my vehicle was lifted with an after market roof rack (information I communicated to her) which resulted in the transport company having to rearrange their load to put my vehicle on the top of the truck. Apparently the total clearance needed for transport was miscalculated and my vehicle struck an overpass resulting in significant damage.
Maxi has been extremely difficult to pin down as she was supposed to be handling the insurance claim. To add further complication to the process, the driver was driving on a CDL learner's permit and GCS did not have the correct insurance information on file.
