The men who transported my car were poor at best. They damaged my car when they took it off the truck. They were backing the auto ( A 1970 Triumph TR6 that hade been completly restored), off the truck with the door open. The person that was driving the car did not6 keep the wheels straight and drove off the side of the ramps. when this happened the door that was open struck the pavement damaging the door and the front fender.I was very dissapointed. I would not reccomend this carrier to my friends.

This response is for all my current clients and potential clients that may be reading this to simply explain that Mr Kluge is not upset with Gold Star Transport nor the service that I provided him. The review is miscatagorized and responsibility for the damage to his vehicle rests soley on the shoulders of AG Express, the carrier who transported Mr Kluges vehicle. But if I may explain to help those better understand . Mr Kluge is not incorrect in stating that there was an incident to his vehicle while backing off the ramp. The driver had to open the door to see the ramps because the window wouldnt open, this being an older car and he did misjudge the ramps width, came off the ramps and damaged the door. But what Mr. Kluge failed to mention in his review is that the driver, who was the owner of the company apologized profusely and generously made a cash offer to compensate for the damage. Mr. Kluge accepted the offer and signed the release of claim to the company. All this he did without contacting our company to at least let us know there had been a problem. I possibly would have advised him differently or at the very least would have had photos taken and advised him not to sign a release until he had the car looked at by a professional. Several days later Mr Kluge contacted my company to let me know of the incident and I did everything I could to assist him. I pulled the Insurance contract, gave him the agents information, made multiple phone calls to the Carrier to help mediate . I did everything I always do for each and every one of my clients. I stand by my clients throughout it all, always willing to assist in any way, which is why Mr Kluge is not upset at me or my company. Unfortunately, Mr Kluge signed a release of claim with the carrier and there is no more I can do to assist. So now this posting is on my site. I can understand his frustration. We have all done things we wish we could take back. I hope to all that read this will not judge my company harshly. We are competent reliable, honest and loyal. I am doing my best to have this removed but in the mean time please consider these circumstances that this review has been placed under. Thank you, Ellen Kealey Gold Star Transport 919-763-9692 J
