This was my first experience transporting a vehicle and although I felt disconnected - I soon realized that it was due to the lack of knowledge I had going into this. Knowing the right questions to ask is key. Dave and Linda both guided me through this process and also looked out for my best interest when it came to booking a driver for transport. Please be patient and do not make the same mistake I did. If you're expecting a phone call everyday on what the status is of your job order - Stop! The Peins do not call you until a driver is booked for your transport. It is their policy to not bug you with the same story - we're working on it.

Before Get It Done had a driver lined up, I had made several calls to other competitors and found out the hard way that there are alot of dishonest people out there in this business. One company quoted me $950 plus $100 for expedited service. Turned out that the competitor tried offering the same driver Get It Done line up, more money if he did the transport for them and not Get It Done. Luckily for me, Get It Done did not offer the driver more money and stuck to his original quote of $860 and the driver was honorable and didn't bump Get It Done from him route for more money. The competitor is just plain bad business.

Once the driver was set up. I received the name of the driver with cell phone number. I was told that I could call him anytime. The driver also deserves kudos - he was very good at communicating his route and professional. We would definitely use Get It Done in the future.

One very important piece of advice is BE PATIENT. This is not a job that happens the same day or overnight.

I will tell you we have a 3 day window and I may not call everyday to give you a follow up of no news, but we dont charge the customer til dispatched so behind the scenes we are busting our butts like you stated!
