Complaint Description:
My 2002 PT Cruiser was transported from Calif to Florida by G&N Transport on 1/4/10. During the delivery of the car the back window & right rear headlight was damaged, hydrolic fuel covered the entire car & there was glass inside. G&N replaced the window without telling me or Domestic Auto Transport the broker. The replacement company did not seal the window properly. I had to pay for the glass to be reinstalled properly, pay for the car to be cleaned and repaired & keep a rental vechile for several more days. I had many conversations with G&N personnel, exchanged emaols with them and the broker, sent photos of the damage and a certified letter on Sept 30, 2010 with all of the expenses I incurred. I also contacted their insurance company. G&N has not reinbursed me for all of the damages even after Declain McGrory (Dino Saldana) of G&N stated he would do so. I have spoken with Greg (owner of the company), Pillar (office manager) & Josue (other employee) as well. The issue has NOT been resolved. G&N keeps stalling on paying for the damages. I have a letter from their insurance agent where it sates they admit to damaging the rear window and replacing it. I sent them photos which show that the window was replaced incorrectly along with photos of tail light and broken glass. G&N Transport did not inform the brokerage company Domestic Transport that they had damaged my car. When I call to speak to Declain I am told he is on the other line, away on vacation etc. The owner Greg has not returned my calls either.

Desired Resolution: I would like G&N to refund me the $594.46 for the repair of my car and the
rental car as they said they would....

Attached are images from the car. There are more images of the glass all over the car and I was told by the detailing company that hydrolic fluid leaked all over the car. My friends from Calif. are sending the signed form from the driver stating that there were no damages to the car when it was picked up by him. After the car was cleaned the tail light was also shown to be damaged, image attached.

Declain - Please send a written agreement as per our conversations regarding the damages to my car.

G&N is agreeing to pay for the following:

satisfactory repair of broken back window of Gold PT Cruiser
detailing of car
cost of rental car

And for the inconvenience and the agravation of not keeping your customer informed and for trying to hide the damages, I would like to make a suggestion that your company buy dinner for 2 at a restaurant of my choice. I would feel better about your request of asking me not report you to Progressive Insurance.

Also I want to let you know that this is the only message that I received from you, contrary to you prior statements that you had sent me other emails. So I really not having a good day concerning the damages to my car while it was in your care.

cust called in re damage that has never been taken care of, apparently she has had one hell of a year and that is why she is just calling back in now, I spoke with her for about 15 minutes explained our position on this and sent her the insurance information, told her to get claim started immediately and I would have mike call her to assist.

carrier asked for good rating... I said we definitely cant do that unless we were sure they handled this as promised ... cust. wants them on DNU list for lying...I ADVISED JOCE IN DISPATCH!

called and spoke with dekland, he said they are taking care of this and replacing the window again to her standards, paying for her rental car and detailing the car as well! they have worked it out and the window is being fixed in the morning! I ADVISED HIM TO NEVER DO THIS AGAIN IN THE FUTURE, THESE PEOPLE TRANSPORTING CARS CARE ABOUT THEM, ITS THEIR DECISION WHO THEY WANT TO FIX THEIR CAR NOT YOURS AND ADVISED HIM THEY COULD BE SUED IN THE FUTURE FOR THIS! TOTALLY NOT GOOD, UNACCEPTABLE! he said they wont do this again, it was an accident and they wont do it this way again....

Spoke with Lauren and advised her that I tried to call the carrier but couldn’t reach him and the reason I didn’t get back to her earlier was because I had a doctors appt for my broken elbow... she felt bad for that and said thank you for following up and I will try to get a hold of carrier tomorrow to make sure this is taken care of for her.. I advised her I would help with whatever I can...

CARRIER CALLED BACK, LM WHILE I WAS ON OTHER LINE, DEKLAND I THINK WAS HIS NAME, I CALLED HIM BACK AND LM STATING I WANTED THEIR SIDE OF THE STORY AND I WANT THEM TO TAKE CARE OF THIS, CUST IS VERY UPSET THAT WINDOW WAS SUPPOSEDLY FIXED BUT NOT FIXED RIGHT SHE HAS TO GET RENTAL CAR ETC. I ADVISED CARRIER TO TAKE CARE OF THIS AND TO CALL ME BACK AND LET ME KNOW WHATS GOING ON IF THEY WANT TO CONTINUE BUSINESS WITH US!!!

Spoke to Lauren and let her know that I called the carriers office, a gentlemen has to call me back to talk about this damage... I gave them my info to have him call me back. I told Lauren I would keep following up with this and let the carrier know they need to take care of this!! She is super mad.. said the carrier told her they called us and told us about the damage!! No way!! We have no notes and that makes no sense...why wouldn’t we let her know, we don’t want bad reviews! I told her we are not responsible for damage the driver does that is in our terms and conditions all we can do is check out the driver and give her all the info she needs to file claim!

customer said when she started to take the boxes out of the back of her car there was glass everywhere. and where the window meets the car by my understanding of what she is saying there is broken glass and a one inch gap.

Customer called in said there was damage to the back window. she said the carrier admitted they damaged her window but had it fixed. they also said they cleared this repair through us which is VERY UNTRUE. I advised customer I would contact the carrier to get there side and also in the meantime get her the carriers insurance info to her email.
