There was some concern about getting a truck as gas prices had sidetracked many but Fred was encouraging and honest about the need for patience. To my surprise, car was picked up on Wednesday, June 4, which was just two days past earliest day planned. Driver was courteous and turned out fate/accessibility? had bumped me up to a closed truck at no extra cost.Paid $1185, Tallahassee, FL to Portland, OR. Estimate Number 8005211-WS. Expected delivery day was Friday, 6/13 and it was delivered in good shape with the driver calling to advise of his ETA. He made a mistake with his mapping system and passed Portland but called to let me know he was an hour off and arrived on time. I did a great deal of research for this first time transport experience and questioned the wisdom of using a broker over a carrier. By using a reliable broker/carrier I feel I got the best of both worlds and felt very comfortable with Fred and his staff from beginning to end.
