Transport of our car was assigned by Totalcarshipping.com, which is an online broker, to Freightport, Inc. Once our order was placed, which was about a week before transport, communication with Totalcarshipping.com deteriorated. They do not return calls or emails promptly, and they failed to provide important information in a timely way. We did not know that Freightport was going to transport our car until a few days before the scheduled ship date and after my incessant phone calls and emails to Totalcarshipping.com requesting information. When I looked for a review of Freighport on this website, I became nervous about the idea that they would transport our car. The reviews were very discouraging, but our timing was critical, so I decided to take the risk. As it turns out, Freightport's driver, Alex, performed perfectly. The promised competitive fee was maintained. Although Alex arrived one day later than expected, he kept his promise about delivering the car on time. There were no complications. Alex is competent, skilled, honest, and polite. When I left our car in his hands, I felt confident. I don't know whether all of Freighport's drivers are as impressive as Alex, but if they are, this is a very good company. Parenthetically, I did not deal with Freightport's office or management at all. Once Totalcarshipping.com assigned the driver, I dealt exclusively with him. For the future, I would stay away from Totalcarshipping.com, but I would use Freightport again, if Alex is the driver.
