I had researched auto transport companies for two months before deciding to go with First Class Auto Transport, because I knew nothing about the industry. I spoke to Josh Dollar on 9/15/11 and gave him the quote that he had given me two months prior. The quote had increased due to the hurricanes and tornadoes that had recently taken place throughout the U.S., but he was kind enough to honor the $995 quote that he had given me back in July. The next morning, I faxed the paperwork to Josh along with the deposit and was told that the car would be picked up sometime over the weekend and would be delivered in a week's time. To my surprise, the car was picked up around 3 p.m. that same day! On 9/19/11, I called Josh to get an ETA on the car, because I wasn't able to track it through the website. He said that he'd contact the driver and have him call me. I decided not to wait for the driver to call me, and called Ambela, Inc. myself, the shipping company that was going to deliver my car. I was told that the car should be somewhere between Tennessee and Virginia. On 9/21, I called Ambela, Inc. again to get an ETA. I spoke to Mitch, the dispatcher, who told me that the car was in PA. Mitch told me that he was going to do the scheduling that day, and suggested that I call back towards the end of the day to see what day my car was going to be delivered. The car remained in PA for two days, awaiting other vehicles that needed to be transported to the NY area, but that was alright with me, because I needed the time to get the balance together. I called Ambela, Inc. on 9/22 and was told that the car was going to be delivered the next day! Alex, the driver, called me on the morning of 9/23 to say that he was about 20 minutes away from my house, and called again once he reached my location. The car arrived safe and sound, although very dirty on the inside. Everything was in working order and there were no new damages! It really paid off for me to do a thorough research on autotransport companies, because I am very happy with the excellent service that I received from First Class Auto Transport! I've read countless reviews on the Transport Reviews website, pertaining to various companies, but the reviews for First Class Auto Transport were more or less consistent, and the BBB gave them an A- rating. Josh Dollar was very helpful and he helped me to calm my fears about my car being transported in a timely manner. It was a smooth process all the way through, given the fact that I wasn't in the CA area when the car was picked up, and had to rely on the integrity of the person who had released the car to First Class Auto Transport. I highly recommend First Class Auto Transport to anyone who is leery about shipping their vehicle, especially from coast to coast. I put my trust in them and they complied. I will most definitely use them again in the future!
