Great service during difficult move

I am extremely pleased with the service I have recieved from Express Auto Transport.

I have recently had a 1949 Studebaker 1-ton truck moved from Colorado to Texas. I called several other companies prior to Express, and I got Express's phone number through Google. I first spoke with Steve who quoted me a fair price. One of the other companies had quoted me a higher price, and without me asking, told me that ALL other carriers would be within twenty or thirty dollars of theirs, so I might as well just not bother asking. I advised the person that I had already gotten a lower price and he said that anyone with a lower price would either not have the adequate insurance, they would jack up the price just before the vehicle was delivered, or they would add a big fuel surcharge.

Well, I don't much care to just pay the extra money without doing a little research, so I asked Steve about all this and he assured me that Express's insurance was the same as the more expensive company's, the price would not change, and I would not be asked for a fuel surcharge.

I made the deal and paid the money up front and Steve set me up with Linsy as my POC.

Linsy was very diligent in calling and emailing me to keep me up to date, but here's where the story goes south.

Unfortunately for me, I had made a deal to buy this truck from a real crook and a liar. I won't begin to list all the ways he falsely advertised the trucks condition because that's not relevant, but this guy was uncooperative with the transport companies (yes, there were SEVERAL before the truck was actually loaded), and he would not call people back promptly.

Through all of these problems, Linsy, Ryan, and basically everyone else that I dealt with were helpful, courteous, and quick to respond to solve the various problems for me. They never once suggested that I should pay any extra money since it was such a complicated mess. Linsy even called me today (the day after delivery) to make sure everything went well and I was happy.

(Hmmm....I wonder if she is single!!)

I have had experience with other transport companies before and was not at all happy, but I am more than satisfied with Express and I will be calling them in a few more months for another job.
