Facts: I placed an order on 9/1/05, putting the vehicle ready date of 9/7. I both called and emailed on 9/2 to change the ready date to be 9/6. I've waited until 9/20 and cancelled the order. At the time of cancellation, they didn't made any progress locating a carrier/driver. During those two weeks, they never contacted me. I called and emailed a few times. Every time I contacted them, they said the same thing over and over that it usually takes 1-7 days for pick-up, even when I called them after a week.
They will take $100 from me because I cancelled on the 14th day instead of 15th day. The order contract says, "If Express Auto is unable to transport the vehicle within 15 days, the entire amount of the deposit shall be refunded to Customer upon Customer’s request." It doesn't say 15 days from the date of order OR date of vehicle ready date. I will address this with my credit card company (disputing purpose).
Opinions/Feelings: I'm so freaking frustrated and want to bang my head for selecting this company. I never yelled or exchanged bad words with the company, but those two weeks felt like months to me without a car!!
