Tim, Express Auto Transport is very sorry that you feel your experience was unsatisfactory. We take personal responsibility for customer satisfaction. And it is disappointing that you feel our service did not meet your expectations.
Unfortunately, often dissatisfaction simply comes from misunderstanding. From your complaint, it is clear that there were several inaccuracies. You state that you were quoted a 10-day period for pick-up. For clarification, in most cases, typically a truck will be assigned and en route for pick-up within 1 – 7 days. From the point of pick-up it can take up to 10 days for delivery.
Furthermore, your claims of a lack of service are inaccurate. Your CSR spoke with you directly just 2 days after placing the order. In addition, you and your wife spoke with other CSRs on 2 additional occasions prior to cancellation.
Another statement alludes to the fact that your quote was too low. Our rate of $1595.00 for a transport from NC to NV is actually considered above the industry average. In consideration of the instability of rising fuel costs and other variables, our rate was competitive and fair to ensure the timely and quality transport of your vehicle.
Finally, you claim that we are a “broker-only outfit”. That is a false statement. In fact, we own and operate our own fleet of trucks. When our trucks are unavailable, we only use carriers within our Preferred Network.
Credibility is very important to us and our customers. Our preferred rating with e-bay is a recognition that is hard-earned. It is granted as a result of several satisfied customers. So please know that even in cases such as this, Express Auto Transport truly operates on the basis of our mission which states, “We Measure Success One Transport at a Time”.
