Their agent convinced me to use Exclusive Auto Carriers because he "had a truck at my location" the first day my car was available (untrue) . Exclusive Auto Carriers then took $145 deposit on my credit card. It was supposed to be door-to-door service, but I had to drive 20 miles round-trip to meet the driver at a Walmart. The truck was virtually a junker. When the car was delivered, the driver would not release it without FULL payment , ignoring deposit monies that I had already paid. He said that Exclusive Auto Carriers would reverse the charge because the credit card was just to "hold my reservation" . Contacted Exclusive the following day . I have been back and forth with the agent, and then Nick (owner) who promised to resolve the issue. They told me the trucking company "didn't know the driver" .....Like an old gangster movie..."Nobody knows nuttin" . But I gave them the trucker's cell phone number, and license plate number (I was uncomfortable upon pick-up and wrote it down).
Beware, These are just a bunch of hacks in boiler rooms who contract with independent truckers, some of whom are dishonest. If there is a problem with the trucker , the broker can't, or won't, do anything to help.
