First of all, I am NOT being compensated for my review here! These are my honest opinions and thoughts-I left a similar review on Yelp (which I suggest customers use for unsolicited reviews!) I used Empire because of their great rating on Yelp and did not want to take a chance on a company with less than a great rating to handle my car. I was not disappointed! George was very honest and open with me throughout the process and never made me feel pressured to commit to his company. He spent at least 10 minutes talking to me about the shipping industry and different options I had for my time frame and again never made me feel pressured to use his company (unlike others who immediately want a credit card or who insisted I should book with them immediately to get a truck sooner, etc) My situation required me to move at very short notice and I needed to ship my car immediately. Once I made other arrangements I called George back and he handled all the paperwork and getting me a truck immediately. I ended up having a truck the next day! My car actually made it to California before I did! Also, since the truck made it to California before I did I had to have my mother pick it up. Unfortunately my mother does not drive a stick shift which put me in an awkward situation. However, the truck driver was kind enough to drive my car to my mother's home so she did not destroy my clutch. (: Now THAT is customer service!
