DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They are withholding my deposit and are not refunding it- and are ignoring my request for refund!

This company has now merged with DIY transport- just a heads up. What happened: I requested my car to be picked up and shipped from CA to CT. It was a bit last minute but was hoping I could arrange a pick up so I would not have to drive. A carrier truck was not found by the time I began my drive so I called to cancel. Joseph then told me that a truck was available so I paid the $195 deposit and was told I would receive a phone call from the carrier to schedule a pick up time. I waited a few hours to allow for document processing but did not receive any phone call. I called ebids to get an update and discovered that there was a booking mistake- they had "booked" me with a truck that had NO SPACE. Danielle, the dispatch manager told me that she would look for another carrier. Several days passed and no carrier was secured so I requested that my order be canceled and my deposit refunded. (This all took place 8/8/14-8/12/14) I began my trip home, but there was no refund given, but gave them a little more time for paperwork and whatnot. Several more days passed and there was still no issue. Now, already in CT, I called ebids to inquire about the deposit refund. Joe told me that he would email my information to their accounting department and I should see a refund in several business days. Still no refund. I called AGAIN and Danielle told me that she would check in with Joe to see where everything stood, and I would receive a phone call. It is now 9/16/14 and I received no phone call, and no refund. I am trying to get ahold of a manager but again they have said "they will call me back". I have been back and forth with this company for OVER A MONTH. DO NOT USE THIS TRANSPORT COMPANY! This whole process has been extremely stressful and irritating. Customer service is POOR. Oh and before I began my trip to CT I emailed Danielle, Joseph, and Bill expressing my dissatisfaction with customer service and immediate refund for the deposit. This was all a result of a mistake THEY had made and are essentially ignoring me, STILL! I cannot express my discontent enough, but please, spare yourself from this trouble.

9/16/14 **Update: shortly after posting this review I received a return phone call from Danielle. She apologized for the confusion and time delay and proceeded explaining the technical difficulties resulting from the company switch to DIY transport. She has indicated that the refund check is in the mail. If I do not type further updates refund was successful and check was cleared.

I apologize for your unfortunate experience, please be advised that we are not affiliated with DIY Transport. EbidTransport does not charge a deposit upfront, and will never charge your card unless a driver is dispatched or commits to pickup your vehicle. I do hope you reconsider EbidTransport in the future as your first choice for your car shipping needs.
