Added the Better Business Bureau complaint to this review for the whole story, but long story short is that if I could leave 0 stars I would. Essentially signed a contract with Carlos for transporting our Lincoln Navigator cross country for 1090 ($940 to the driver after his $150 broker fee). Driver is saying Carlos agreed to $1250 and will not deliver car. Had to call Carlos about 10 times before he said he would call back (he did not) and when I called again from a different number he said that the price was updated. When told this was not in the contract which states price cannot be changed without verbal agreement then follow up email he says he's going to resend everything, then hangs up. Still haven't received this new alleged contract because it doesn't exist. Save yourself the headache and deal directly with whoever is transporting your car. Lesson learned. Exploring what avenues I have to get the $150 back as it won't even cover the price difference.
BBB complaint:
First contacted Carlos Lager on the week of September 10 for transport of a 2004 Lincoln Navigator from Cleveland, Ohio to Bakersfield, CA. Stated that our window for pickup would be September 25-27, as we were leaving town September 29 and wanted to leave enough time for pickup.
Signed contract (Order #6871-UK) on September 15, demonstrating our $150 broker fee payment, $940 due on receipt to driver, with an estimated window time of Sept 25-27. Contract states that if the price is different than the estimate, car will not be dispatched, but a verbal agreement between consumer and broker must be reached first, followed up by a email confirmation.
September 18 emailed Carlos Lager (carlos@eplogisticservices.com) to confirm receipt. He said he had not received so resent and confirmed by Carlos.
Beginning September 24 when we had not heard anything and first estimated day of pickup was September 25, we began to call Carlos to ask the status and kept getting the runaround. Received generic emails on 24, 26 and 27 stating they are working on the order.
On September 27 Carlos states that he had procured a transport company for that day, but they wanted $1400 so he said no. Then later we receive an email that the vehicle has been dispatched but no details as to who or when.
After calling to request these details receive an email from Carlos (easternpacificlogisticservices@gmail.com) stating:

We connect with the driver who picks up the car after we've left. Yesterday, October 4, in anticipation of pickup, transport company calls to arrange details and states that amount due on receipt is $1250. I state this is not in the contract and they say that it is in the contract they signed with Carlos. When I do no agree, they say they have attempted to contact him to resolve but he is not answering and ask me to do the same.
Today, October 5, I have called Carlos over 10 times, spoken to him twice. The first time he said he needed to look into it, and would call back, never did. The second time, he stated that this was the updated price and that he sent the information. When I said he never did, and that we did not agree to that, as was stated in the contract, he said he would send everything over again and hung up.
Still have not received an updated order. He will not be able to produce anything with our signature or an email or verbal agreement to a new price, as there was none.
Carlos is the only person at Eastern Pacific Logistic Services that we have spoken to. Service has been very unprofessional, and he has now attempted a bait and switch that is in breach of our contract. I want a refund of the $150 broker fee paid, as it will only partially cover the additional price I have to pay in order to have my car delivered.
