I really appreciate how Door-to-Door Transport listened to how delicate my transportation situation was. We have a lowered 1960 VW Ragtop Beetle with 1.5 inch clearance in the front. We needed a driver who could transport this vehicle without ripping off the front bumper. We also have a 1992 VW Cabriolet convertible without a top. Both are lightweight vehicles with delicate issues. Jineane would not allow just anyone come and pick up our cars. She encouraged us to allow her to raise the price just $25 in order to add incentive to the right driver to pick up our vehicle. She found the right driver who called me immediately to get more information on the cars.

The driver called us constantly leading up to the pick-up, throughout the time he had the cars, and then the hours leading up to the drop-off. He understood how important the cars were to us.

The only issue I had was with the driver's tardiness. Now, like I said, he did call us. Because he works alone, sometimes his pick-ups and drop-offs take a little longer than expected - he does not rush because he wants to take care of each car. He had us waiting 12 hours after the pick-up time causing us to leave town much later than expected, which caused us to not be able to drive as far the first day and we had to give up a hotel room, costing us about $65. He was also late dropping off the car - about 6 hours late. But he did a fabulous job getting both cars to us safely!

Overall, I must say that I am very happy with the service provided and I would recommend using this service. I would use them again in the future.
