I was prepared for the worst, but my experience with Door to Door Transport was good. They did not try to jack up the price trying to "create more interest" for my listing, as some transport company quotes "required", and Anthony was available on the phone.

I learned through this experience, watching the driver in action with his tablet on Central Dispatch.com, that price alone does not qualify or disqualify your car for pickup. It depends upon where your car is located (are there many cars for pickup in a small radius), and where your car is going (can he go to the final stop as efficiently as possible).

Why Door to Door did not get 5 stars: 1) Broker did not contact me to say he had a driver - the driver started calling me, and I erroneously ignored the calls as robo-calls from another broker (I had saved the broker in my Contacts list); 2) My car went onto Central Dispatch.com, even though the Door to Door site calls out their fleet of trucks; 3) Broker told me that the driver would not pick up a car on a Sunday - actually, he picked up 3 cars that day; 4) Broker had no real information on the progress - I decided to work with the trucker who was excellent (and very accommodating). The trucker was Rowdy Transport (Miami, FL) and the driver was Jose Aguilar.
