This was my first experience transporting a car via carrier so it was a learning experience and I was proactive as possible in the coordination of events. Roy was my main contact and he scheduled my transport with a carrier who does pick up and deliveries from the East Coast to the West Coast. The pricing was reasonable. The order was placed on 12/27/2011, dispatched on 12/27/11 and picked up on 12/30/2011. My son arrived in Washington on January 9, 2012 and the car was delivered to him approximately 3 hours after his arrival (slightly dirty from the open transport) but undamaged and no issues with anything stolen. Despite some of my concerns the end result was good. Roy quickly made things happen when needed. The car will be returning in June or July and I will use Door To Door to handle the return transport.
