Not the fastest, but they really kept their word on the price

Overall, I am satisfied with my experience. Everyone I spoke to was very polite and courteous. The driver who handled the transfer was fantastic. In addition to being extremely polite and professional, once the pick-up was scheduled, he adhered very closely to the agreed upon schedule. There was an issue involved with getting my vehicle loaded onto the truck. As a result, we had to contact a local towing company to help facilitate getting my vehicle loaded onto his truck due to his wench malfunctioning while in the process of loading. Instead of added this as an unexpected expense, he paid for this additional service out of his own pocket and got the job done in order to honor pre-determined price that I was quoted. Once that was out of the way, he managed to get my vehicle to its destination and he made contact while en route to ensure me that he was on schedule.

My only negative complaint would be the lack of communication between me and the company. I was initially supposed to have my vehicle picked up on a Wednesday or Thursday. I called Thursday to make sure they were still coming, I was told that instead of a 48 hour window, it was actually 72 hours. When Friday evening arrived and I still hadn't heard anything, I called and was informed that they were having a hard time finding a driver willing to drive over the holiday weekend. I actually thought this was understandable, I just wish I had been informed of this earlier. I assumed someone would be out the next business day after the holiday but this was not the case. I then waited another day after having not heard anything and took it upon myself to call to see what was going on. My car was picked up that Saturday. Fortunately, my time table was flexible and this did not cause a problem. Upon calling customer service, I found the reasons for the delays and once I heard them, I understood. Again however, It would have been nice to have them be a little more proactive and contact me about these issues.

Again, the overall experience was good. Their rates were $150-$200 lower than the lowest quotes I got outside of Door to Door. All parties involved were polite and pleasant. And increase in communication though, would have made the experience even better. That said, I would definitely use Door to Door again.
