On March 31st I had the misfortune of calling this company to transport my son's truck from Georgia to California. He is in the Army so time was of the essence. I wanted to make sure that my son did not have to worry about anything, so like an idiot, I paid the entire amount up front. Big mistake. He will be shipping out mid-April and I had to have a guarantee that the pick up and delivery would be at a specific time. I was assured that the truck would be picked up on April 4th, and it is April 5th at 9pm and no show from the trucking company. I have called and left several message but never received a call back nor any other communication.
I will be calling the Attorney General tomorrow morning. The only saving grace is that they bank at the same bank as I and I'm hoping that the bank will be able to retrieve my funds.
It is disheartening that a person or a company would be so dishonest. With today's economy, it's hard enough to get the money to pay for such a thing, but even worse when the money is taken with no service at all!
