Overall I was quite please the service provided by Liz Scafidi & Domestic Auto Transport team. I rated them excellent as they met all of my criteria and there were timely updates or someone to answer my calls when I got impatient.
By way of background; I wanted the car delivered via a reliable transporter at a reasonable and fixed cost. I was not in a time crunch so I was willing to be flexible on the pick-up and delivery. But I wanted a firm cost and to be kept updated on the status. Domestic Auto delivered on their promise at very close to the quoted price. I would recommend them family or to a friend.
The car was picked up in the aftermath of the snow-storm of the monster blizzard that shutdown most of DC and Maryland. The driver (Art) had an unattended pick-up, which required him shoveling out the car from 22" of snow and after difficult roads etc. the car is now in my driveway. It was delivered in South Dakota in the aftermath of the snow-storm of the decade here. The driver was very friendly, courteous and professional.
My car was transported half-way across the country in the worst weather to hit the coast and mid-section in years. The car is in the same condition as when it left, barring some road dirt from the various snow storms it endured. As I watched Art unloading the car in sub-zero temps here I thought, this guy is worth every penny he gets paid. So I am also quite happy with the transport company that delivered the car.
