I shipped a car from Virginia to Utah for my daughter who is away at college in December, 2009. I solicited price quotations from about 5 different companies. The price quoted by Domestic Auto Transport was not the lowest (about $800), but nearly so. I consulted this website to read reviews of this company and others, and found that the lowest bidder had terrible reviews due to poor customer service. For that reason, I selected Domestic Auto Transport.

Ms. Scafidi was terrific, very responsive to our schedule needs, very nice to deal with, and she quickly arranged the auto shipment. I had a relatively narrow window for pickup and delivery, as I wanted to have the car delivered prior to the beginning of the winter semester, while needing to make use of it as long as possible in December. Also, winter weather was a risk factor. We worked out a feasible schedule, with pickup schedules about 4 days after the deal was finalized. The truck showed up on time, and provided doo-to-door service as advertised. The car arrived in fine shape, 3 days later and without damage. The drivers of the truck were also very courteous and professional. I would definitely use this service again.

I'm glad I paid a slight amount more, for the painless service.
