Contact person was VERY PERSONABLE and seemed to be knowledgable concerning how shipping agents operate. However, I was given a pickup time to have the vehicle ready for transport of between noon and one pm. After one pm on the day of pickup I waited for approximately one and a half hours expecting a call from the shipping agent or the transport truck driver which NEVER came. I finally called and was told the driver was on his way but was not given any estimated time of arrival. After several more hours of waiting without any contact from the transport agent or the truck driver, I made further inquiry as to when the vehicle would be transported and again received the same comments assuring me that the truck driver was on his way. Finally, at approximately six thirty at night the driver finally arrived and by this time it was very dark and I had to hold a flashlight for the driver inorder for him to see how to place the hold down straps (it was approximately 28 degrees at that time) and this process required approximately twenty five minutes. After the initial pickup of the vehicle, I would have liked to have had some method of tracking the progress of the transport truck but was not able to do so. I will admit that the weather conditions were less than desireable for transporting a vehicle to North Dakota however, better communication of the entire process should have been MUCH BETTER!. I have some experience with shipping cars and trucks (I ship between 5 and 8 vehicles annually) so I am aware of the problms that can arrise. Be that as it may, the communication I view as mose vital was sorely lacking with "Domestic Auto Transport" and for that reason, I would not be a future customer...J Goodrich submitted 12/19/2009...

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME JAMES..........do you have any CLUE how hard it is to get a carrier to go to NORTH DAKOTA in mid DECEMBER? I had your vehicle assigned to a carrier within 2 hours of placing your order AND had a truck in your driveway a day and a half later for pick-up. As far as I know even DOMINOS dropped their guaranteed delivery time, for obvious reasons. We greatly apologize that the carrier we sent to pick up your vehicle arrived FOUR HOURS past his ESTIMATED pick-up time. Your phone call on the day of the pick-up calling Ryan and I vulgar and offensive names and your profanity laced tirade makes me wonder how anyone could possibly work with such an uncouth human being. FYI from the English Dictionary - ESTIMATE: to form an approximate judgment or opinion regarding the worth, amount, size, weight, etc. *****MALIA*****
