I was quoted one price by DAT and then charged another by the driver, who wanted $100 extra and threaten not to deliver the car. I called DAT and spoke to Naomi, she assured me it was a misunderstanding. Nevertheless, the driver finally showed up the next day and demanded the extra $100. I had to pay extra to get MY OWN CAR back!!! Afterwards, I e-mailed Naomi again to request a partial refund from DAT, and got no response. What a clever racket these people have going!!!

Naomi@Domesticautotransport.com Kimberly@Domesticautotransport.com 360-853-2809 Jose, First off we'd like to state that we did not charge you anything extra. Your original quote for our portion was for 200.00 We only charged 175.00 on your credit card. So we actually charged you less than we were suppose to. The carrier over charged you 100.00. We have all the paperwork showing the balance to the driver at delivery for 900. If you would like to see all those notes, or want to question them please let me know and I will be happy to forward all that information to you. You have had your credit card company call us to try to dispute the charges but nothing has been disputed because we are not in the wrong. Again its the carrier who is at fault not us. We helped you through this whole situation and yet we are still being made out to be the bad guys. On the day you are saying you called in to speak with Naomi about them not delivering your vehicle, she wasn't even in the office due to a family emergency, you spoke to Jocelyn. I just asked Naomi and she still to this day has never received an email from you. I have personally spoken to your bank twice, and given them the name and number of the carrier twice so you can get your 100 back. So let me recap: We undercharged you, the carrier overcharged you. You and your bank have the name and number of the company who overcharged you and yet we are at fault. For any future customer reading this, we do apologize that this carrier did this to the customer. We at the time had the issue resolved, the carrier delivered after hours, and did not hear about the extra being paid until it was to late.Once the carrier has been paid and the vehicle has been released from their possession and back into the hands of the owner, recovering any extra money paid to the carrier is next to impossible. Perhaps the carrier was looking for a tip, we are unsure, but we have numerous messages into the carrier, and they have been put on a black list to not use again. If a carrier charges more they usually have a good reason such as personal belongings in the vehicle, or a breakdown on the vehicle in which they have to hire another company to help them jump start the vehicle. We have instructed this customer on multiple phone conversations through his bank that they need to go after the carrier not Domestic as we in fact undercharged the customer not overcharged. Again if anyone would like to see any information we would be happy to show you. Thank you so much. We do wish the customer the best and apologize for what the carrier did.
